Back to School 2026–2027: Welcome Days Information

We are excited to welcome our Rocks back for the 2026–2027 school year! Back to School Welcome Days are designed to help students prepare for a successful start to the year. Students will have the opportunity to pick up important items, complete beginning-of-year tasks, and get familiar with their schedules.  Enter through Door #2 (WHS Main Cafeteria) for all Welcome Days activities.

Monday, August 10 — Returning Students

Location: Door #2 (WHS Main Cafeteria)

• Seniors: 8:00–10:30 a.m.
• Juniors: 11:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
• Sophomores: 2:00–4:30 p.m.

Schedule Changes:
Students needing schedule changes may visit the Learning Center Front Atrium from 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Tuesday, August 11 — Freshmen, New Students & Make-Ups

Location: Door #2 (WHS Main Cafeteria)

• Freshmen & New Students: 2:00–6:00 p.m.
• Schedule Change Make-Ups (Grades 12, 11, & 10): 2:00–6:00 p.m.

Schedule Changes:
The Learning Center Front Atrium will be open from 2:00–6:00 p.m. for schedule changes.

What to Expect During Welcome Days

Students will be able to:

✓ Take their school picture
✓ Pick up their student ID
✓ Receive a new Chromebook (incoming 9th graders and new students)
✓ Obtain a parking permit or join the waitlist
✓ Walk their class schedule
✓ Complete other important back-to-school tasks
