My name is Stephanie Rokop, and I am returning to teach at WHS after a two year absence due to my husband’s job relocation to the St. Louis area. I am very excited to be back at WHS! I had the privilege of teaching special education here for 6 years prior to our move. I have taught BSD classes at both the 9/10 level and the 11/12 level. I will only be teaching the 9/10 (freshman and sophomore) BSD classes this school year.
In addition to teaching at WHS, I have taught children and worked with families for over 20 years in Illinois,Missouri, and Indiana. I am also a mother to three children, the youngest of which will begin his junior year here at WHS as a Shamrock. My oldest son attends IU School of Medicine in Indianapolis and my daughter is a junior at the University of Richmond in Virginia.
My goal is to help each of my students find their passion, nurture their strengths and learn the strategies necessary to compensate in the areas they struggle with, in order to reach their fullest potential.
