Matthew Putman has been teaching since 2004, as an engineering and technology education teacher at Westfield High School. His main concentration is teaching the Project Lead The Way curriculum focused on engineering and the design process. He has received numerous awards and honors including being selected as a Siemens STEM Institute Fellow in 2012. In 2008, he was selected by The National School Boards Association as a “20 to Watch” Educator and also a winner of an IPL Golden Apple.
