Welcome to the Yoga Club Homepage!
Our group meets every Wednesday throughout the school year, 4:00-5:00pm. (Yes, after 6th period!)
We primarily meet in the LGI, but sometimes we move locations based on availability; please sign up for Remind texts (see attachment) so that you can stay up to date on location changes.
**New this year, we will combining our workouts with our teacher group. It'll make for a nice large group and lots of new friendships!
New members are always welcome, even if it is just to try!
Our instructor is Lisa Picek, who is a licensed yoga instructor who has been teaching for many years. To help "compensate" the instructor for her time, we ask that all participants donate $20 which will get you 10 sessions (which $2/session is a steal for an hour of yoga!).
I'm the club sponsor (Mrs. Messmore), and I've been practicing yoga for over 10 years. I'm no "master yogi" but I enjoy the opportunity to learn new poses and workout with people who want to learn all the benefits of yoga!
Yoga is for all types: athletic to "can't touch my toes". The sessions accommodate all abilities, including those with injuries.

Items to bring to a session:
Comfortable (and fitted) clothing
Optional: eye pillow (for relaxation)
Optional: yoga block (for difficult balances)
Optional: yoga strap (for binds and big "reaches")
