The community of Westfield is in transition from rural to suburban. The school and community are experiencing rapid growth. The high school building was first occupied in the fall of 1997. Westfield High School is located off U.S. 31, approximately 30 minutes north of downtown Indianapolis, in the Town of Westfield.
Westfield High School follows a trimester schedule. There are three of the traditional terms within the school year. Students have an opportunity to earn 15 credits a year (5 classes per trimester).
