Lifelines Parent Meeting

Parents and Guardians,

Westfield Washington Schools and Chaucie's Place have partnered together to bring Lifelines: a suicide prevention program to our eighth grade and tenth grade health class curriculums. On Wednesday, October 28 in the WMS Cafeteria, we will host an informational meeting facilitated by Chaucie's Place to review the program and the curriculum. Lifelines teaches resiliency and emphasizes to teens the importance of talking to a trusted adult if they are struggling with mental health issues or have concerns about a friend's mental health. Lifelines is a comprehensive evidence-based youth suicide prevention program that seeks to create a school community in which everyone is prepared to prevent teen suicide. This meeting is open to all middle school and high school parents.

Questions about the program can be directed to Alicia Denniston, WHS Assistant Principal, (dennistona@wws.k12.in.us) or Doug Luce, WMS Assistant Principal (luced@wws.k12.in.us)
